The Glasgow University Philosophical Society was founded in 1887 for the "promotion of Philosophical discussion and investigation" at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. It incorporated Queen Margaret College Philosophical Society in 1892 when the all-female Queen Margaret College, Glasgow became part of the University.
